I wouldn't get rid, but he certainly isn't the player he once looked as if he was. No need to slag him off, but equally no need to sing his praises too much. At present he looks like a squad player.
kuijpers - 6 - did ok but last minute mess could have been costly
whing - 6 - a bit off the pace
tunnicliffe -7- a few nervous moments but improving
virgo -7- less hoofs than usual and a couple of good intercepts
el abd -8- our best defender today
crofts -7- very effective, broke up a lot...
To be honest, I thought that although Harty was brilliant for the last 6 weeks of last season, we wouldn't need him any more. But after Tuesday and today, plus watching the DVD of last season, I can't wait to have him back. What's the latest on his mole/carbuncle/hole in his toe?
no humble pie for me
I'm enjoying it today, because I said a few weeks ago, after seeing his fitness and energy in the reserves, that he could do a job
"reserve games are turd" said some
i hope they were there to see his best game for very many years - and let's hope there are three more this...
kuipers -6 - a couple of good stops but some shaky moments too
whing -6- playing well but a costly sending off
elphick -7 - looked solid
virgo - 8 - a few hoofs but overall much improved
borrowdale - 7- sound performance though caught out a couple of times
dicker -7 - quietly impessive and did...
Yes, I would absolutely bring back Guy as player coach and give him the odd run-out. And yes, it is a f***ing stupid question- or haven't you been watching this season??? Maybe you think the current defence is good enough?
It's that time of the year again for contract talk. ogh shouldn't have been given a new contract last year, but he was, and we have paid for him to get his dodgy knee fixed.
So maybe we should get some benefit now. We are going down and will need a reduced and cheaper squad, as well as some...
kuipers -4 - arguably at fault for all 3 goals and lucky to get away with it on a couple of other occasions
whing - 7- good defending, poor distribution
virgo -5 - lumps it time and time again
elphick - 6 - not bad
borrowdale - 7 - looked solid and tries to keep it on the floor
loft - 7 - did...
Andersen -6 - nothing to do, distibution dodgy
Whing - 8 - one mazy dribble in their box. i don't know how he did it. I don't think he did either
Heath - 7 - solid
el Abd - 7 - ditto
Livermore -8- good performance, great cross in move that set up second goal
Jarett - 7- in and out
Carole -7-...
Legally it's simple. If you're fired, you're entitled to a pay-off unless it's gross misconduct, and unless you walk into another job and mitigatre your loss. Being a poor performing manager isn't gross misconduct.
it should be
kuipers
whing
virgo
el abd
mayo (but he's injured, so mcnulty)
cox
carole
jarrett
livermore
forster
andrew
subs
fraser
davies
hawkins
mclard
sullivan
I expalin that by the fact that elphick and Lynch didn't play together the whole season, nothing like it. Butters wwas playing, and was ther ein training all season.
