I cannot comment on his ability to do the job but having met him recently I can confirm hes a 'bloody nice chap' :)
Having recently moved to Scotland I met Gordon Smith at a Rangers game in January (hospitality), I asked him about the miss and he spent 5 mins chatting about how impressed he...
Born Shoreham By Sea, West Sussex. Been Albion all my life, same as my dad, same as my grandad.. now live in Stirling, Scotland.. season ticket holder at the Amex.
Horsham by the Sea will be joining you all in October.. enjoy the match (i'll be in my seat for my last mid week games of the season before my relocation to Stirling)
Not sure if Parkers have a 'retail' business or just trade but surely they as the suppliers they need to ' step up ' here and resolve this issue otherwise builders and customers might decide to trade elsewhere....
Im sure the bad press alone is worth ££££'s to Parkers..??
errmm they have sold out ! well almost.. they have some xxl left.. apparently we sold 3 years (previous sales) worth in the first 6 weeks..its unbelievable..
I thought we would suprise peopel this year and make a stand (mid table) but feck me this is snowballing.. deep breath everyone its only...
I too bought one of the stones in memory of my grandad ( passed away many years ago ) and to say thank you to my dad who used to take me to the games back in the 80's.
I agree with most of the points raised above and I am happy for my name to be added to the list (again would need to dig out...
Cant help but wish Reynolds would just let the crowd do our own build up.. happy for them to play a few tunes and build up the game but geez he drowned out the home and away fans from 1440 to 1458 (ish)..
and what the fu*k was all that ' lets get ready to rumble' crap .. sounded more like a...
gotta love that.. Gus is superb.. funny story though.. after the game I was standing outside the east stand and as the Blackpool fans walked past about 10 x 6-10 year olds lads startied singing.. were fuc*ing brilliant were fuc*ing brilliant.. the blackpool fans were pissing themselves.. then...
Ok.. why dont we start with the ' we are Brighton, we are brighton super Brighton from the south' as its a halfway between a simple chant like ALBION and and longer song like GOSBTS.. if (big IF) we could take turns then that would be impressive..
imagine the whole North singing it . all...
geez your on every friggin thread.. you made your point fella.. whats your problem ? its not s**t, its a little just basic and must not become our main effort. its a bit of fun and gets everyone involved.. having said that I do cringe when every friggin goal kick erupts into a your sh*t...
its point of view I suppose.. yes it would be great if all 3 stands could sing the same song (not just ALBION>>ALBION) but its gonna take some time... at least its interactive and gets people singing.. Im with you on expanding it and adding variety but to call it shit is .. well harsh. White...
have to agree.. bridcutt was imense.. what a player.. tackles he made were out of this world.. for me mom and I am fast becoming a massive fan of his.. he can do no wrong in my eyes.. having said that I thought Vincelot & dicker both had great games.. its a shame we lost the two goal lead but...
STH in the east block d.. theres hundreds of ex north standers and plenty happy to stand and sing.. however we are disperesed and spread out... add the family stand and we have the potential to be loud (not as loud as the west etc .. but loud).
I propose we join in as the LEFT side brighton...

After 14 years of waiting the last 2 weeks have been out of this world.. spent 2 hours after the Donny game singing the Albion classics in the North West bar.. met up with so many old faces from the Goldstone and now I have to give it all up... last home game for some time is Palace then moving...
I too was in the East .. block D. sadly east was shocking for atmosphere..full of oldies BUT great and I mean great view of the play and west stand on half way line but couldnt help but look over admiring the North stand.
From my view West stand only sang 1 song.. " we're the west stand "...
I remember him so well.. like you I was 14 in 1988 and just started my ' North Stand ' experience.. throwing celery ? random.. blow up sheep..PC Beard.. giving the away keeper abuse and doing the Krispies rap.. ahh great memories.
It always amased how far you could actually move in a surge.. I...
