    This is such a shock. I can't believe I won't be seeing him in the Star before a match again. Roy was one of the good guys and I for one will miss him terribly.

    In the first season of 3 points for a win, Burnley won it with 80 points. When we went up in 1988, we finished 2nd with 84 (Sunderland had 93).
