Fair point - but I think politicians with views like this deserve to be marginalised and not given mainstream coverage. Many local papers - like The Northern echo - have taken the stance that they will not publish BNP stories and are brave enough to say "You're not welcome in our community."...

I think the Hastings Observer and other local newspapers should be wary about giving the BNP this type of free publicity.

ESCC tried to ban these permanent or semi permanent roadside tributes a couple of years ago but backed down due to public outcry whipped up by local press. Personally I think they're morbid and unnecessary.
