Apologies if this has been posted before, but I don't recall it. Zero covid cases in Gibraltar (100% vaccinated) for three weeks in a row.
Vaccines are wonderful.
Another country that registers zero deaths for the first time in months (since August 2020!): Portugal. Also only 196 new cases which is very very low, and 17 new admissions (which is also low).
Other countries doing well is good news for everyone and I have to say I'm very impressed with the US' vaccination efforts. 2 million per day!

This graph is quite impressive as well. Shows active infections/100,000 in care homes in Catalonia (Spain). Infections are drastically cut in those with a percentage of vaccinations exceeding 70%. Very, very encouraging, as it shows vaccines do seem to stop transmission.
I don't know how my life would have been in the past few months without this thread. Glad I've been able to contribute myself from time to time but especially thankful to those of you who have been posting relevant stuff since day one.
This is fantastic, especially the fact it shows identical efficacy against severe disease and hospitalisation for all variants once the immune response really kicks in.
