Nor are we playing on Sunday. But thank you. I just thought I'd trust the views of NSCers today rather than trawling through outdated recommendations available via google or Tripadvisor.
Hi all. I'm making a rare weekend of it in Brighton and I'm looking for a decent (relatively central) pub to watch the Liverpool game in on Sunday (the other half's a red and she's adamant we're not going to miss it). I'm sure the good people of NSC have a few suggestions. Decent pint of Harveys...
Tickets have gone guys and girls. Thanks for the interest and positive comments. Enjoy the game everyone. Apologies I can't reply to all the PMs I got personally at the moment.
I have two tickets for today spare. They won't cost a penny. I'm taking my son to the game and will be at the ground at 2.30pm. All you have to do is meet us there. PM me if you are interested with your mobile number. I'll be driving until about 1pm so I probably won't come straight back to...
Don't very often post on here these days but wanted to contribute to this thread. I went last night but had to sit in with the QPR fans as I couldn't get a ticket in our end. I went with a mate from work who is a QPR fan and a regular at Loftus Road. As The Camel says we totally outsung the QPR...
I'm in. Will definitely be following this thread (or any new poll) to see what the consensus is. Don't fancy watching this game outnumbered by Palace fans.
Everton spoke to Palace about him at the end of last week. The chairman will reluctantly sell but Everton have not yet matched the fee he wants. That is not to say that he won't settle for a slightly lower fee as deadline day approaches. As you'll see from my history I don't post nonsense...
Dear all. Just to say there'll be another piece on this in the Daily Mirror tomorrow. It's not huge but it's in. Page 31. And you'll be pleased to know that NSC gets a mention.
Trust me, I'm not on here looking for stories! Just a Brighton fan who happens to work at a national. Saw Tom's thread and thought we had to do something on it.
Dear all. I haven't posted anything on this site for a very long time (I don't really have the time with work) but regularly visit it. To solve the 'mystery' of how this story was picked up I'll tell you. I work at the Daily Mirror and flagged it up to the reporter who covers the South East of...
Thought you guys might like to see the following (interview with Greer halfway through).
Miirror's Steve Myall joins Swindon FC for pre season training - mirror.co.uk
This was done last Thursday and I got Steve Myall (the reporter) to ask Mr Greer if he was joining us. He laughed nervously...
Cannot believe a guy who secured our football league status is being talked about in some quarters. What he achieved that season (not only from being so manmy points adrift but with everything else going on off the pitch) was truly incredible.
Aside from football Gritt plays cricket in Kent...
