With all the talk of Lamptey, The Computer, Ben White leaving and finding a striker, Alexis has slightly gone under the radar in some ways. Now he’s settled he may have a massive season for us.
Alexis has shared on Instagram that he’s going to participate in the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Talks about how much it means to him and that he thanks Brighton and Hove Albion for helping achieve his dream.
Alexis will be class for us. Surprised this is even in question.
Has shown glimpses of real quality in his cameos. He will get even better next season.
True, but some of the South American cbs can be beasts as well.
I see it as simple as this. If he’s good enough to be called up and even START for Argentina he’s good enough to be involved in our first team straight away.
I expect him to be on the bench for Sheff Utd, and if he makes a good...
Welcome to your new home Alexis!
Put in a good shift, play for the shirt and produce the performances and skills you’ve shown for Boca and Argentina and we’ll love you.
You may even become a legend here. Seagulls!
Quite a different level to Baluta in fairness.
Alexis already holding it down as a key player for Boca Juniors and playing as a full international for Argentina at 20 years old. You don’t do that as a player without having something special about you.
Tudor hasn’t played good club level yet.
Thanks for the link, very encouraging to hear.
We have something special on our hands with Alexis. Hopefully he can use this end of the season to be ready to hit the ground running the next.
It’s going to be quite something to see this guy in our shirt. A full blooded number 10, already in the Argentina team at 21.
To see a player like this for the Albion is going to be quite emotional for me.
I’ve been critical of the recruitment team and their failure to land us a Murray...
You and me both.
It’s more obvious when you’re at the Amex possibly, as you hear the collective groans.
Nearly every move that breaks down comes via him, he misplaces passes, is not strong enough, can’t shoot, has no pace, can’t head and can’t score.
Apart from all that he’s not a bad player.
