Thanks AZ. I was there at that game at Derby and remember their rabid fans booing Solly off. I really hope for us and Solly that it's nothing too serious. He's been a revelation this season with his dynamism, skill and great defending. He seems such a nice, unassuming guy too. Fingers crossed.

I was listening to the local Derbyshire radio for that game and I remember hearing the fans booing and in addition their local commentator was also laying into March, saying he was fine and time wasting etc; total scumbags.

Anyway has there been any updates, unsurprisingly I heard he won't be in the squad for Burnley.

I remember the same plus the biblical style rain. They really were ***** as the lad is on a stretcher hardly time wasting...

What a shame, Solly has stuffed my negative comments about him early last season back down my throat and is arguably our player of the season so far. Really unlucky for him and us. Hope the op is an unqualified success and not an Izquierdo situation

Will be voting for him as POTS, regardless of what happens next. Would be a great boost for him to win whilst in recovery.

Huge loss for us, with BDB and an unknown providing cover we are going to struggle, I wonder if potter will look to move to a 4 at the back.

Solly has been up there for player of the season, been very consistent and so many great performances for us this season.

I really hope it is hamstring, but the way they were putting pressure above / below his knee is what made me think it was ACL / Meniscus related as it is pretty much the same thing they did to me when they thought I had done my meniscus

Thats the standard way to test for an ACL injury, because if you've torn it there will be too much movement. But its diagonostic, it helps them determine if its an ACL or rule it out. So just because they did that test, doesnt mean it is and ACL. Lets hope its not.

He will certainly be missed as he has been excellent this season. The only real upside is that it’s not ACL. Cartilage removal/clean up is an in and out in a day operation with very small incisions. Hopefully we see him before the end of the season.

There goes Solly’s chance for the POTS award poor lad, you need to play more matches than he’ll have done to win that. Such an important Potter player out for the foreseeable.

Well done to the club for bringing Karbo back early though. He certainly seems to have the pace and skill to match Solly but lacks hugely in experience but he does seem to be a specialist wing back. Fingers crossed he is what we need but we shouldn’t place too much burden on his shoulders. Interesting that he got his bench debut at Liverpool.

Knee cartilage damage, sounds bad :nono:

Hopefully not as bad as it sounds, and he can make a quick recovery.
