I take it that you assume all good players start life in the P-R-E-M-I-E-R-S-H-I-P, burk.

I think its more along the lines that we will not be wanting to sign a striker who is unproven at CHampionship level. We already have 6.

i take it you assume Tubbs is a good player? 26 and still playing non-league (albeit champions and scored for fun this season) is not a hidden gem but a not very good player. from the Man U game he was shown to be pretty limited, i know he was up against one of the best defneders in the country, but seemed no idea about losing a marker or creating space. he would not make the step up to decent defenders.

David Beckham, purely down to the fact that he is looking to learn English and Gus has offered to give him lessons :)

Uruguay's Juan Cruz Mascia. The tall teenager is the top scorer in the South American Under-17 Championship and is available from his club, Miramar, for about £1m.

Small issue in that Chelsea have invited him for talks.

:lolol:

Well, I tried to pick players that aren't playing in the Premiership (or at least not much), or, players that are getting a bit, and might not last another year in the Prem (Bowyer, Carr, Zenden, Salgado).
