Completely bias? Name one of his following justifications for Palace's inclusion that is not true?

1. Not done on purpose.
2. Simple, administrative, technical error.
3. Palace can fix it as soon as possible.
4. Palace will do whatever UEFA requires to solve the problem.
5. Textor and Parish made a very compelling case to UEFA in last Tuesday's meeting as to why Palace should play in next season's Europa League.
6. EVERYONE in football knows that Parish runs Palace, not Textor.
7. Palace EARNED their place in the Europa Cup by best Man City in THRILLING fashion.
8. Palace are absolutely not part of a multi-club ownership group.
9. Palace are an INDEPENDENT south London club.
10. They don't share any resources or staff with Lyon.
11. John Textor couldn't have foreseen this happening.
12. John Textor is actually trying to sell his shares in Palace.
13. Chrystal Palace fans won't take it lying down if they are thrown out of the Europa League on what would be an absolutely outrageous decision.
14. Palace fans and players have done nothing wrong.
15. If Real Madrid or other bigs clubs made this 'technical error' they'd be allowed to play in the competition.
16. Palace have a very good chance of actually winning the Europa League.
17. The competition would be deprived of the amazing opportunity of having Palace participate.
18. Common sense must prevail at UEFA and they have to sort this out.
19. A big blow for Palace, English football and the Europa League if Palace are kicked out.
20. He met a Palace fan whose 84 year old Dad wants to go to 'one European away game'......'that's all he wants to do in life'.
21. If the ruling goes against Palace, they won't take it lying down. The hope is that English Football backs them. They've GOT TO BE IN the Europa League.
In a court of law, I would suggest this is compelling evidence that proves Palace should be in the Europa League next season. An 84 year old man who just wants to go to one European away game.

Case dismissed, M’Lud.

Yes, listening to that at the moment. Just watched SSN's expert (can't remember his name) explaining the rules - but he's actually passionately supporting Palarse - it would be outrageous if they were denied the place they've earned and deserved, and all that! Watch from about 8.00 onwards -

Some independent expert analysis, that!
Genuine question to somebody who knows more than I do - why is it only Palace who are facing possible expulsion. How come Lyon's place isn't in jeopardy?

Just to pick up on one of his points. It would have been nigh on impossible to predict that PSG would win the French cup. So yeah, hard to predict Lyon getting into Europe.

Probably expected Reims to score one on the break, then save a spot kick after the goalkeeper got away with handling outside his area. An entirely plausible outcome!

It seems to me the NSC echo chamber effect has moved the hive mind from convinced Palace will be fine to indignation that UEFA should even consider it.

What started as just a gentle teasing of our resident Palace bunnies could leave a lot of us fuming when the dust settles.

It would be hilarious if it happened but I really wouldn't recommend letting yourselves believe it will.
Not sure it was ever "gentle teasing" for the majority. It was jumped on pretty much as soon as they won the FA Cup. Probably as a way of dealing with the pain of them winning it. They are in clear breach of the rules and we are talking palace, of course the majority want it to happen.

Whilst I agree it will probably get sorted out, I am also wondering on what grounds? It seems unlikely that the Palace Pillock will be able to sell his shares in the next few weeks (given he has apparently been trying to sell them for a while). Any other solution surely makes the whole 1st March deadline meaningless in future seasons.

My feeling is that the longer it goes on, the more likely it is that Palace miss out.

FWIW the needle for me is moving from "there is no way they won't play in Europe next year' to 'although its unlikely, maybe just maybe they won't be allowed to play'.

100% agree.

Which is why we need to get back on track and start posting twitter posts and links to other social media examples of palace fans shitting themselves and going into meltdown. Put the FUN back into the situation rather than repeating the same points over and over and over again.

I'll do my part by posting the thread from holmesdale.net

I haven't read it yet but there must surely be some great posts in there:thumbsup:

Had Man Utd finished 8th this would be all over the media with a very different spin on it.
No it wouldn’t. UEFA would already have kicked Palace out and replaced them by now.
