Surely a LOT could happen to the pitch in the following 5 hours after the inspection though...get to 4pm, theres no sunshine, and the temperature will be steadily DROPPING all the way...
I don't care though. I'm local enough.

might be in bewdley xmas eve, its not flooded yet is it?
the flood barriers are down so christmas revellers can lean over the rail and chuck into the river without hinderance
I shall be following tonight's match on internet from The Mug House on the quayside with that facility in mind

2.30 is probably the preliminary inspection. Expect the ref'll have another poke at about 6.30 as well though.

Just had some Brighton fans in the shop saying that they've come from their house in Withdean and there is a pitch inspection at 2.30pm.
