Can't see the point in having five central defenders to be honest.

Mickey HAS to sort the middle of midfield out, or we'll do NOTHING this season. Use the wages on that instead.

Is there any reason why AV can't play there?
Surely he expanded his skills range playing at Celtic?

I think you should stop pissing your pants at the prospect of an overrated centerback coming to play for us again.

Exactly, good player, but well overhyped. I dont even see where he fits into the squad.
4th choice centre back or 3rd/4th choice striker maybe?

3rd choice striker, 3rd choice centre back and 2nd choice right back I would guess. Unless we are selling Lynch or Elphick dont really know where he is going to start to be honest.

Brilliant cover though.

IMHO that is the answer with Whing playing at left back. Dont start on the old chestnut Whing is right footed as Paul Watson used his right foot just for standing on but MA played him at Right back.

Being right footed never stopped Kieth Dublin playing well at left back either.

I'm going to be CONTROVERSIAL here, and against the NSC CONCENSUS, question whether Lynch is actually a better centre half than Virgo.

Virgo did alright a division higher, after all, and has played and trained at a higher level since. I'm not actually suggesting he IS better, just questionning the ASSUMPTION that Elphick and Lynch will be the first choice.
