[News] Could be a very big day for RNLI donations

I was simply replying to the other bellend that asked me to check flights.. And Baldseagul gave me a normal reply without sounding like a ****, so your sarky reply is not required.

Yes, there are flights from both Kabul and Syria to London available.

Thanks for the link. No need to be snarky though, I wasn't implying they were going on holiday. People that are drowning trying to come here are travelling across from France mostly. So they could make a claim for asylum in France, or the several other countries they've crossed on the way...

Thanks for the stats. Do you know, out of the 98% arriving by boat, how many successfully claimed asylum? This may be a stupid question, but if they are paying a lot of money to traffickers, why not instead pay for a flight and just claim asylum on arrival?

    [Albion] Darwin Núñez

I don't trust The Mail, but if true, I wonder if Celtic would be interested cash + Locadia deal. He might do alright in the Scotland.

    [Football] Welbz is injured.

Yeah you can, but imo up front more so than any other position (maybe followed by CB, due to having a good consistent pairing and GK).

So, the thief left empty handed then.

    [Albion] Darwin Núñez

Why would Schick want to join us? He's playing European football with Leverkusen and the club most likely don't want to sell him (they only bought him last year and he's on quite a long contract).

Sorry for some reason I thought you were in favour of allowing all migrants into this country, I guess I mis-read your earlier post. If you mean just improving the process of handling legal/illegal migrants and asylum seekers and treating them better then yes I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately...

    [Football] Welbz is injured.

Imo up front is the one position where it's best not to rotate too much. You want strikers playing week in week out to build consistency and confidence. Rotating the forward line (or having forwards in and out due to injury) makes it hard to build consistency and get into a goal scoring form. Of...

[News] Could be a very big day for RNLI donations

You keep saying 'resource it'. but how? The country is in huge debt and most public services are already under resourced, including the border force and the NHS is stretched (that's on top of having to deal with the covid pandemic) and it's only going to get worse, especially if you have an open...

That's why there is (or should be) a skills shortage list for any immigration process. If I wanted to emmigrate to New Zealand, I would need to fill out a form and state what skills I have (among other things) and then my application would be considered based on the points system (e.g. the more...

That's fine then for those that enter the UK with the intention of applying for asylum. I'm not suggesting they should be treated like criminals (unless they enter the UK without a valid visa and have no intention of applying for asyluim...in which case they are breaking the law), only that this...

My "another Dan Burn moment" was more tongue in cheek. FFIW, I thought he played well last season (the City and Liverpool games were a classic obviously) and will still be a useful squad player when better players come in. There's plenty of other players that should be sold way before Burn is sold.
