Get yourself one of these. A bit noisy but powerful enough that it creates enough breeze to make you feel like youre on a brisk walk down at the seafront
I don't think i've ever know a team to change their home shirt design as frequently as Southampton have over the last 10 years. Stripes, not stripes, largely red, largely white. Imagine the horror if Brighton came out with a largely white kit
Just coincidence I think, looks like Duffy has a deal with Adidas as do a number of other players in the squad. There are even websites dedicated to tracking player boot deals (footballbootsdb.com) on which you'll see that quite a large number of our squad have Adidas deals. Not sure if that...
Don't think there's anything in this. Numerous photos of players also in Nike and other branded footwear. Players have deals with various different manufacturers and those deals tend to include wearing that same brand of trainer for fitness/pre-match etc. I'm guessing you've just come across...
Definitely a lot of talent there, but for one reason or another hasn't really kicked on since coming into the first team picture in the same way other have. Too early to get rid of him, but could do with a loan and regular game time if he isn't going to get it at Brighton.
Decent player but don't see where he fits in, chequered injury history too- I'll get pelters for this but I think Maupay, Undav and Welbeck will be enough
Would love to know the stats for teams with the most clean sheets this season. I would hazard a guess that each of them have a lot less than 12 different centre back combinations ?!
What happens with our army of loan players could end up having a big impact on our squad make up and potential incomings this close season if the club view any of them as part of the plans for the new season.
If I had to guess I'd say we'll probably see quite a few of those on loan moved on...
Cant really argue with the inclusion of the two Palace players based on form, but frustrating when we've had our own form players overlooked in the past few seasons!
A few names stick out to me- Mings & Smith-Rowe. The likes of BDB and Tomori will probably both feel very put out to have been...
Would make a strong argument for Maupay- his 10(ish) goals in a side that barely creates anything is good going and the points he has gained/saved for us this season may well be what keep us up for another season.
This one could be interesting....
Sanchez- 6.5 A couple of errors but some good saves that kept us in it too. Unlucky with the deflection for first goal
Veltman- 6 Brightons Mr Consistent, usually solid but never special
Duffy- 5 A couple of errors but overall solid, doesnt cut it as a...
Overall I thought he wasnt too bad last night- aside from flapping at a cross in the first half (which seems to be one of his key weaknesses) and the let off when Kane took the ball from him. Unlucky with the huge deflection for the first goal, and not a lot wrong with his positioning for the...
