Sheffield is a seriously a great place to live. Super near the peaks, everyone happy and its cheap. I gave up the rat race and moved up here a few years back. Mortgage almost paid off in just 18 months.

I live up here in sunny Sheffield. Its awesome, no seriously it is :D. Peaks within 10 min drive or a 30 min run. Friendly people. Cheap houses. Nobody very stressed, easy life. I second Kelham island for beers or just go to the Sheffield tap in the station.
