All this Sunderland interest sounds like paper talk. I bet they only buy Bridcutt.
But all this speculation does beg the question - why aren't we circling around a bunch of replacements? (Not sure Chris Baird is the answer)
Your confidence is commendable and I would I would love it if you were right I just don't see it happening. He is untested in the prem and is no use to us sitting out contract either.
Given that Bridders is downing tools at the moment then any resolution to his transfer is worth it. More than happy with Ince as replacement so would snap up this deal happily. Just think Sunderland will make us wait and get Bridcutt cheaper than we think.
I am not wanting Spanish players for the sake of it. Pretty obvious that there is more value in foreign players at the moment (see Joe Mason: £2.5m) so I am surprised that we haven't used Oscar's Spanish credentials/contacts more.
I don't care where our manager comes from but given the fact...
Ronnie in a league of his own when wants to be. Much the same as Tiger Woods, Roger Federer at their best.
Scores so fast and consistently. Amazing.
I play snooker once a week and know how damned hard the game is.
Seems a little odd to me that Poyet was more successful/active in recruiting from Spain/abroad that Oscar has been so far. E.g. Lopez, Ulloa, Calderon.
I would have expected some new cheap Spanish lower league stars to come our way by now, or at least some speculation.
Has Oscar not got the...
Never seen so much real transfer activity for us seagulls (apart from that crazy day when we signed about 6 including Dobbie).
They must have somebody in mind to replace. Dunk could step up. And it would free up some cash.
