Has anyone done one of these? We're trying to think of a way to engage our depressive (adult) son to engage with some mood lifting, outdoorsy stuff. He's a Lord of the Rings fan, and something like this might be good. It just seems very expensive for what you get. Or is it worth it?
So, how does this work then? The club selection seems pretty random, with Chelsea qualifying because they won the Champions league 4 years ago, despite being generally pants since then. Once invited to participate by the FIFA Overlords, are clubs then obliged to participate, or can they...
Hello everyone.
My son has just received his digital ticket for this game. It doesn't have his name on it (that space is blank), and the supporter number is different to his Albion supporter number.
Should he be concerned?
Welcome news. I took my doggy to the vet a couple of weeks ago for a follow-up check with a cardiac specialist. A 15 minute consultation which involved a few questions and brief physical examination cost a WOPPING £270. That works out at over £1000/hr. Not sure how this is justified...
And another distraction from the sublime football today, apart from the two little birds, was ALL THAT SMOKE wafting over the top of the North Stand. What was that, then? Imagine the KERFUFFLE if we'd had to abandon match and evacuate Falmer.
...were proving quite the distraction from my view in West Upper. Couldn't give the game my full attention at times. No wonder we....didn't win. Anyway, anyone know what they were?
- Giorgio Moroder - just blows my mind with his astonishing talent and back catalogue
Roberto de Zerbi - wow!
Someone else - I live quite a sheltered life, and there are no doubt many other immensely talented Italians out there - nominations welcome
Good afternoon everyone. Does anybody know if the game is being shown anywhere in Brighton on a big screen, for us unfortunates who can't get away to Amsterdam? I think there was something at the Amex last time, and the Concorde club also had a big screen, but can't find anywhere this time round.
I mean, the Wolves game was just a funtastic goal fest, no?
But THAT MOMENT, after 95 minutes of pure frustration trying to get one past that lot, really has to take some beating, doesn't it?
Well?
I only ask because we naturally focus on the poor officiating, what there seems to be quite a lot of to be honest, and consequently I genuinely don't know who the good, solid, reliable ones are? Whose name should I be relieved to see officiating our games?
Well?
If City win tonight we’ll be just 3 points behind 5th spot with 2 games spare, which I find quite THRILLING!
What I also find thrilling is that these kind of debates are even relevant to the Albion!
It's a toughy, but still probably that magnificent Chelsea humbling was the best for me, so much fun. But still astonishing to see our boy clutching that trophy today, so proud!
Congrats on a fantastic second half from our women. 3 - 0 down after 25 minutes with a totally hapless and forlorn performance, and what looked like could end up as a possible 10 - 0 drubbing, the Albion turned it around in the second half with some really fantastic football, getting their...
My goldfish's little fishy friend has just died. They'd been together for 3 years. He is looking very sad, and seems to be searching for his friend. Do goldfish experience grief, or am I just being silly and soppy?
PS - I'm going to the fish shop tomorrow to buy him a new fishy friend.
I'm really looking forward to this game. One or other of these teams (or maybe even both) is yet again going to fail to register a win yet this season, and the post-match schadenfreude gorge-fest is going to be magnificent. We need to enjoy moments like this while we can.
We will be the proud owners of our first EV this week. With our first big road trip (300m) planned for next weekend, I won’t have very long to get used to it and all its needy ways. Would you recommend using an EV journey planner app for recharging stops, or should I just wing it?
