[Other Sport] Which sport would you wipe from the face of the Earth?

Haven’t watched a fair bit over the years, I’d argue women’s tennis is much duller, unless you’re there for the grunting.

Bang on the money. It’s just a really fun day out, as long as you enjoy the 95%. God knows what sober people do at cricket though.

[Other Sport] Which sport would you wipe from the face of the Earth?

But worse than sports where we’re building stadia and having people commute to said stadia? Give me a break - you’re putting forward a one sided argument. You’re still preserving much of the land that would otherwise be sold for construction or business, or many other human pursuits that cause...

[Other Sport] Which sport would you wipe from the face of the Earth?

You’re right. I find it painfully boring to watch and utterly skill-less. My ignorance derives from that as I simply don’t want to learn more about it. But I’d say that’s the same about almost every sport mentioned on here. Like the people claiming golf is bad for the environment when we’re all...

    [Politics] Wealth Inequality

Unfortunately we’re a country of extremes and short memories. The bigger worry is that we’ll move to something worse ie Farage.

[Other Sport] Which sport would you wipe from the face of the Earth?

This is a weird take. You’re keeping most of the greenery in tact. People are out walking. Football’s more of an environmental disaster than golf, as are most other major sports, simply because of the need to build huge stadia and have 10,000s of people commuting to them. I do wonder if all of...

Cricket’s actually a ton of fun live. Unless you don’t like being drunk by 10am.

    Isn’t this almost every sport?

    [Politics] Wealth Inequality

Let’s be honest, we’ve voted that way for years until this recent election. And it took f*** up after f*** up from the Tories to stop it from happening.

Goodness knows why that message posted twice.

Cycling, because of the entitled twats that do it. Closely followed by anyone that plays baseball. To have an American version of rounders as one of your main sports really is embarrassing. I can’t believe anyone suggested Ice Hockey or Golf. Ice Hockey live is one of the most fantastic sports...

    [Albion] Harvey Elliott

I don’t see it personally, but I’d take him. I think he’s a fantastic player with a great work ethic.

[Albion] Would you welcome Bruno back ?

I’ll respectably agree to disagree. He gave us his best playing years. He’s not a born and bred Albion fan. We couldn’t offer him guaranteed work when Potter left so he followed him. It’s totally understandable and shouldn’t detract from the positives he brought us, even if the theatrics of it...

I don’t know how any of our fans would ever boo the guy.

    [Film] Film 2024

Agree. There’s been a ton of these films about famous pop stars at this point, and this is very near the top, if not at the top, of this particular genre. Very enjoyable, even if they could’ve trimmed 10 minutes.

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Arsenal *** Official Match Thread ***

Says someone isn’t worth arguing with, then proceeds to argue and name call without any substance. Of course, I’m the issue here… But, seeing as I’m apparently relying on tropes, who of the players we’ve signed has become a first choice player? BV is our first choice. Not signed in the summer...

    [Albion] Baleba V Caicedo

No, I don’t think he’s close yet, and I think he’s our most important player. He’s better offensively, probably, but as the sitter in midfield, he’s not even close to Caicedo, who I think’s the best player to have played for us.

[Albion] Who was our last rapid CB?

Probably Tomori when he was on loan.

[Albion] Leaving a man (or 3) up when defending a corner

He was utter tosh yesterday, but his delivery from set pieces is excellent. The one where he just passed the ball into the space between the defence and keeper was outstanding.
