Generations of fans go. This isn’t hard to make sense of. If you can keep generations going, you guarantee revenue over a longer period of time. And, just re your point, the people in their family that wanted the tickets were on the waiting list.
I totally respect that, even if my experiences have been terrible so far.
I would argue the economic point though. Because a) if you made it easier for fans to transfer tickets to registered members, we’d earn more as a club through concessions because we’d have fuller stadiums, which we’re...
This is quite the norm at the Albion. Someone I used to sit next to in the North died after 45 years of going. His daughter in law (I think), who he usually went with, wasn’t allowed to keep it in the family.
Money before fans.
An equally sensible system that would take 30 seconds, would be allowing me to transfer the ticket to a registered member, seeing as I’ve paid for that ticket for a season. You know, like most sensible clubs do.
Less profiteering, more bums on seats.
And yes, it takes only a few minutes, but...
I’m sure the opposition to this is someone like Mourinho, who regularly left 2-3 players up the pitch because he believed that it meant the opposition had to leave at least one more back. This left his own box less crowded and meant his defenders could attack the ball more easily.
Then again he...
I appreciate some have had good experiences. Everyone I know is already at the “what’s the point in listing it on the exchange” stage. I think the system is a profiteering mess, that has nothing to do with making the job easier for fans, and everything to do with trying to squeeze more out of...
Then that’s their fault for the profiteering system that’s in place. So many more seats would be filled if a simple system was in place that worked for passing on tickets. But no, they want more money.
The biggest problem is that the exchange itself is a waste of time. I’ve had to put two up...
I was. Incidentally, I’ve seen the biggest pay hike I’ve ever had since September, finally bringing me to a level that matches my output. I saw little pay growth from 2008 through to this year, despite trying different industries and being educated to a high level.
There are exceptions, of...
There’s been stories about freezing pensioners every year for the last 30 odd years. That isn’t Labour specific.
But when the wealthiest generation in history are struggling to find the money to put heating on, it should be a cause for joy that the younger generations, many of whom spent 14...
I was just doing exactly that. The problem, of course, is that the quality of the team around both players and the tactical instructions both play under will vary greatly, so a direct comparison isn’t really ideal.
I also don’t think it’s quite fair to judge where Baleba fits yet because a) the...
With all due respect, you don’t have to support the model to support the club. Many of us supported the club under the previous regime where we nearly went out of the football league - we still supported the club despite the model and “process” being different.
But the model isn’t really being...
