No not at all! It has fcuk to so with what is printed in the papers it is to do with being allowed to express an opinion on here! As soon something is said that may be a little unpleasant about the team or something a little close to the knuckle is said all manor of abuse is unleashed!
Trying to play like Barcelona in the championship is obvious to any "real" football fan is not going to work! Look at the big physical teams and what tart have achieved... West ham, stoke, west brom... It was only last year people were taking the piss out of the west ham style of football! Who's laughing now?
All I am saying is that change is needed! Otherwise BHA will end up like Coventry, with a lovely new stadium around them with no decent players and even less in Attendance!
Criticism isn't a bad thing!

But you are criticising the manager for because of a tabloid transfer rumour for something has not actually happened. Gus can do a lot of things better but can't stop idle tattle in the press

If Buckley goes and Bennett returns, then i'd say that is an improvement.
Really it all depends on who we have upfront. If we end up with someone like Charlie Austin, Bennett would be more effective with his accurate crossing, passing and link-up play. If we stay with CMS then Buckleys pace would be more suited to the style of attack than Bennett therefore Buckley would be the more effective winger. In a perfect world, I'd have Buckley right wing, LuaLua left wing and Bennett playing the free-role behind the striker (maybe Austin?) like he did in his last season for the Albion.

I would think the club will be tempted at £2m + Lambert

they keep saying they cant afford this and can't afford that.........so 5m + lambert would loosen the purse strings a bit........not that i think he would come here tbh. the squad needs strengthening and we can only do that by buying better players.......no-ones giving them away are they...(apart from us that is...:D)

This has been fed out by Saints PR as a lowball starting point, to get people talking & WB thinking, so when a £3m comes in someone 'here' may think they've done well, when in fact they've sold us down the river...CMS yes, Anyone whose name begins with a 'B' no
Unfortunately his no show for pics with the kids at the Xmas party & Gus suddenly talking up Kazenga in the last week is the 'no smoke...bit
Club statement stating £5m minimum is required asap

And this is why all the criticism of Poyet is justified. This was our best chance of promotion and we're cocking it up spectacularly. If we now end up losing our best players we've got no chance.

It's already been eXplained that Buckley left the team at Blackburn for Christmas as his family live in Rochdale.
Gus doesn't deal with contracts but lets the chairman and CEO who he wants & needs to keep. If a player & his agent want to move, there's not a lot he can do.

I heard some interesting stuff about Charlie Austin over the weekend actually. Move to the "South" is on the cards for Jan (South as in South or South as in South of Burnley, I dont know), apparently he has a £4 million release-clause, hence the seeming small bids of 4 mil going in. Reading, Arsenal and Fulham have bid with Fulham looking most likely as a move to Reading would be pointless as they're doomed and he knows he'd be just a pawn at Arsenal. Very much still wanting to be one of the top boys at his new club, so we could be in with a shout a la CMS. Could be bullshit but I thought it was interesting.

I'd be surprised if he had a £4M release, not sure that he or his agent would have been thinking anything so grand when he moved from Swindon .... and wouldn't the media have got hold of it? I agree though that a Fulham or similar would be favourites

Wow! I have always thought that underneath the silly nonsense there was a sensible fan trying to get out.

But "criticism of Poyet is justified (because of press rumours)" ?....sadly that is clearly not the case and you really are the prize prat you appear :(

Thickest post of all time. Justified because a paper has printed a transfer rumour. Brilliant.
