4/677 (INELIGIBLE CANDIDATE: full info in the comments)

Andrew James Kilburn was a Reform UK candidate in Benfieldside, County Durham. He won.
It appears he was added to the Durham Council website as a councillor (his entry is still cached by Google).
However his page has now been deleted.
It would appear another Reform UK councillor has gone.

Edit: now fully confirmed by the Lib Dem’s. Councillor Andrew Kilburn was ineligible to stand as a councillor in benfieldside, County Durham. Opps, Fantastic vetting Führage. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Cost to re run 10-30k paid for by the taxpayer.
what about Fatima Jabba-Bio....? I mean if your interested in money wastage .

"Reform UK is preparing legal challenges to close down asylum hotels in areas it now governs.

Nigel Farage’s party has appointed a team of lawyers to prepare judicial reviews intended to block the opening of new asylum hotels in the 10 councils of which it took control in the local elections earlier this month"
As it will upset their rich mates that are making money hand over fist out of them, I bet they don't.

Those poor asylum seekers though, no more room service daquaries and free access to the pool and gym.

Just like those ex NSC morons Timmy and Stevefoster getting ideas above their station, they're councillors FFS. They can make decisions on where bins for dog crap are put, overgrown weeds on pavements and missed bin collections :lolol:

I see the usual suspects are still chewing their dungaree straps with Reform performing well and Labour leaning more to the right than Douglas Bader.
Many are still waiting for an answer from our Reform supporting colleagues.

It's a simple question: What do you like about Reform?

But you are all so quiet on this. The answer is usually 'I'm not a reform voter'.

I'm not a reform voter! however there are a number of their policies I do like and have already stated so on this thread. I could never vote for Farage though. Let me ask you, are there any of the Reform policies you do agree with, if so which ones ?.

To save me looking back through over 6,000 posts, could you clarify which policies you like, how they are costed and if they are legal in international law?

Search function is your friend as I'm frequently told. But as a gesture I've copied below. I also said I'd be happy to pay additional tax to fund if it went to the right areas. Not sure any of these would breach international law. I'll ask you the same question that Berty swerved. Which of the Reform policies do you agree with ?.

I'd never seen it before but at a very quick glance:
Deport foreign criminals - The current 1yr sentence level is ridiculous when you look at the state of our justice system and the paltry suspended sentences some get.
End Student dependency visas - Do many UK citizens take their whole family with them if they go and study abroad ?, it's just not needed.
Abolish IR35 rules - Took away so much from contractors. I know there will be many on here who disagree but this if you got caught in it you lost all the benefits of being a ltd company but received none of the employee benefits.
Sentencing review - Needs a major overhaul and to keep offenders off the streets.
Will need then to increase detention spaces by 10k - I'd suggest even that is too few

That's 5 and at first glance there look to be others that I'd agree with but would need to see more about them and then there are a lot of disagree with or are just unachievable.

I read through their policies some time ago, and they all seem to be highly unrealistic, and I have no faith in them to actually cost or carry out any of them. From memory, there was one about getting rid of the House of Lords I quite like and raising the first tax bracket to 20,000 ish pounds.

If you are not a reform voter it seems like a weird discussion to wade into. It seems we agree that Farage is a charlatan and his policies are not worth the paper they are written on, so why are we discussing which ones we like?

It's Farage the person I dislike intensely. He's a sleaze and anyone who cosies up to Trump like he does is not to be trusted. I waded into this one as a response to a lot of people instantly smearing 4m+ people in this country as thick/racist, that for me fails to understand what people are thinking and why.

This is what I don’t like about posters like you.

You think anyone criticising Reform and their policies is “chewing their dungaree straps”.

Yet you whine like a little bitch if anyone suggests Leave voters are thick.

Sort yourself out. Your argument is a shambles.

Warming and reassuring to continue the obsession with why people may choose a certain party.

Rarely is it asked of Labour voters, where the manifesto looks as solid and workable as a Chelsea FC business model. I sometimes wonder if it's to see if they might, out of naughtiness, catch out folk.

Who knows?

Why don’t people ask them then?
