Lovely to see how the team now seems to have found more ways to play through the press from the backline. Felt like we got a bit predictable at the tail end of last season with the over-reliance on the "De Zerbi S" down the middle, today it was all about finding outlets down the flanks, which seems to work just as well against teams not parking the bus. Big balls. Big brains.

Totally different isn't it? Much was made of this two central boxes of four through the middle. What he's now doing is getting the players to move the boxes to wherever the space is.

The Newcastle fans were immense today. Constant noise in that second half and after the match all seemed relatively cheerful and friendly.

That's not slagging off Mac it's testament to how good Gilmour was. If he wasn't British people would be losing their mind over that performance. He's 22!
Billy was absolutely exceptional today! Just don’t see the need to put Ali Mac down because of it!

Only really heard them after the game was won.
Thought the North and West stands were good through out the game
