Millwall exposed this lie very well on various forums and eventually Palace had to concede to the truth that they didn't want away supporters creating an intimidating atmosphere.
It worked a treat as their small club only got 16,000 for that particular local derby.

How embarrassing is it for a Club to say its biggest rivals are Brighton & Millwall yet when they come to visit Selhurst they limit away supporters to about 2.5k. Which left 10,000 empty seats against Millwall and probably about 5,000 against us.

So...just so I have understood the Palace argument...their players and the police would be shitting themselves a lot more about the atmosphere created by 3,000 Brighton fans than 4,500 West Ham fans earlier this season? It's a compliment of sorts, I suppose. Unless it's a total load of petty shite. Same old Palace, Noades would have been proud of this one.

Bullshit. There is no way West Ham would have had 4,500 if that was the case. You are just cacking yourself about the possibility of losing, like last time at Selhurst.

We don't have a history with West Ham so it's not bullshit. As for the bit in bold. What would that have to do with how many tickets you get?

Sorry to repeat myself - but it is not. Its solely down to CPFC2010.

Sorry to repeat myself - but it is not.

the police control your club & tell you how many fans can go to the games :S is that why you have a half empty stadium most games as the police cant handle anymore ?

Unfortunately, Cpfc2010 do what ever the police say. So if the police say close this block and that block and give a reason then Cpfc2010 do. Hence why the away end was moved.

what a bunch of c--ts Palace are not meeting the fans needs, what ever club your from, if they can not sell them them selfs, then pass them on to the away club.
we could sell 5000 so lets have them, you could always keep us in at the end.
lets face it if your going to have to pay your high wage bill for the players and never fill your ground things are going to get very hard for you as a club.

No use hiding behind the police on this one, as with Millwall you've been rumbled.

Rather than waste your time defending it, just listen to that loud ticking sound. That would be less than 54 hours until the transfer window opens. Zaha and Clyne - bye bye. Promotion hopes - kaputt.

Yes Zaha is going to go less then a month after signing a new 5 1/2 year deal.

we sold every ticket, some fans could not make it on the night, just as some of your fans, we sell out every game at the Amex,
Nottingham F sold out the south stand and brought more fans than you.
Next year you should get more tickets as more seats are going in the away end corners, looking after the away fans thats a real club not a tinpot club from Smellhurst
