Not bothering to buy in advance for some away games this year, including Coventry on Saturday, could come back to haunt me on this one.

(I only have my only lethargy to blame, obviously.)

I did that for one of the away days, just took my ticket up to the Amex and they gave me the loyalty points :)

In terms of area, the whole of the Arthur Wait will be given over to us. This doesn't equate to all the seats though. BIG buffer zone.

I reckon 2,500 to 3,000.

This is not true. We have 3 blocks than there is a buffer zone then Palace fans have two blocks the other end. But I think your numbers aren't far out.

Don't flatter yourself about the whole stand, you are getting 3 blocks, 3 blocks are sterile and 3 blocks remain for home fans, it is the same configuration as for the Millwall game and a figure of 2,600 was quoted for that, therefore you should assume that figure. The police had a say in the arrangements for the Millwall game as they have with the Brighton game.

Couldn't give a toss wank stain as long as you give us what we're entitled to.

No what i was trying to say is, that your getting 2500 and not a single ticket more.
It'll probably break down something like this:

9,000 - season ticket holders
2,600 - away fans allocation (10% of the ground)
5,000 - general sale to Palace's other fans
9,400 - Groupon (at £1.50 a ticket)

Apparently this is a smoke screen thrown up by Palace - Police have no problem in dealing with as many away fans as Palace wish to issue tickets to (ie. West Ham - who had over 4.5k at Selhurst).

Millwall exposed this lie very well on various forums and eventually Palace had to concede to the truth that they didn't want away supporters creating an intimidating atmosphere .
