I know a LOT of Saints fans, unsurprisingly, given where I live.

Despite what the ones who post on here would lead you to believe, they are actually not ALL utter cocks.

I do not believe you.

I know two in the real world and they are both utter cocks, in fact they make this simpleton look half decent.

Maybe if you all keep implying I'm stupid and calling me a 'newbie' rather than actually proving me wrong, everything I'm saying will stop being true. Impeccable logic.

I have about 20 Saints supporting mates. They are pretty much all fairly humble about their league position, and if anything are actually getting a bit nervous right now, as promotion starts to look ALMOST secure.

The lad at work here this morning was all "I'm always worried, as a Saints fan, that we'll cock it up" and admitted that after 70 minutes he was bricking it on Saturday.

I think the internet cocks give them a bad name, to be honest.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Saints fans are like some sad needy girl that you once had a daliance with and then moved on from, who keep walking past your window with some new scrote they're giving head to in parked cars in an attempt to make you jealous.

He jogged with no expression on his face at all, other than relief, towards a kid no older than 4 in the crowd who held his hand out for a high-five.

Lets be honest, if he played for any other club than Southampton, you wouldn't give a toss.

And to say you'd rather have CMS who cost upwards of £3m(?) than Sharp who cost £1.8m and is a prolific Championship goalscorer when he plays is ridiculous.

Interesting bite but completely missing the point of my post. The key word being 'class' in how CMS handled his games against Posh - and was reflected in the reception he got from their fans. You appear to have overlooked my acknowledgement that Sharp may be a more clinical finisher (even though prior to Saturday he hadn't exactly been pulling up trees) however I didn't mention that South Coast Club that he now plays for, whoever they are. If anything 'our' interest in Sharp relates to the crap spouted about his so called career threatening injury for Donny last August. Yet miraculously he makes a recovery and hey ho there he is to nail his old team. Some ex-players seem to handle their return to their old clubs with some class and others don't. As if to reinforce my point Hammond and Harding immediately come to mind as being among the latter.

Moved on? I saw a thread on here the other day that was dedicated to hating Southampton. It was several pages long. This thread itself is about OUR player and is four pages long. The irony of what you're saying is brilliant.

You're the one walking past the window. Sometimes you'll see things you dont like. So what? Just go back to your MkIII escort and your drug addled latest meal ticket.

I'm walking past the window and seeing the bloke I had a brief affair with blasting out "I Will Always Love You", pining for me with tears in his eyes, desperate for my attention. When I finally knock the door to see how he is, he claims that he's over me and has moved on and found someone new. Yet as soon as he closes the door, Celine Dion starts blasting out at full volume again, with the sound of him weeping barely audible.

I think this metaphor is going a bit far...

Somebody new, are you having a laugh?

Look we briefly had an affair with you but realised that you were full of STD's so have gone back to the only one we ever really cared about.

Oh and by the way, you were a crap shag.

Let's just say we both had a drunken one night stand. You were really keen at the time, but looking back, we both regret it. It was a mistake. Especially as it turned out you weren't even into women.

And you weren't exactly Cassanova...

Unless I missed something, I think you're being a bit harsh on Lynch. He'd just scored an injury-time equaliser for a side battling against relegation. He ran towards the Forset fans - can't see what's wrong with that.

Is he really supposed to put his head down and calmly walk back to his half?

I think this not celebrating after scoring against a club you once played for is a load of nonsense.

Sheebo is right although it was Facebook, not Twitter. Lynch called the management team c***s and said no-one had checked on him to see how he was doing when out on loan but Dean White said he had rung up once a week so Lynch was lying. He did put in a transfer request also.

Our club nickname was changed due to the rivalry . Deep enough ?

Maybe but as I said I'm sure he slagged the club off on facebook or twitter and was a twat. And he left by throwing toys out etc. Personally, I like players showing respect for their previous employers and that clubs fans. In that situation I wouldn't celebrate whoever the club was I was playing for / against. Just my opinion like.

Cheers for the reminder. That was it. Yes he's a ****. Also a classless **** in my book. Like Hammond. Enough said.

Oh balls I've gone and mentioned a player who plays for the massive Southampton FC - I'm obsessed. Little 'Liam' will be laughing at me :(

Yet another thread with Albion and Southampton fans claiming how little they care about each other reaches multiple pages. Brilliant.

Join in my discussion re Lynch - much more fun ;)
