My dad, who was an Albion STH from the 66/67 season (I believe) passed last Sunday, aged 72.
He was there for everything BHAFC has been through in the last 50 years. The 1979 promotion, the cup Final, the 91 play-offs, Hereford, Gillingham, Withdean, Millennium Stadium, Wigan 2017, and the...
I really wanted to go to at least one Europa League game. Knowing that people are giving up their tickets means I can actually do it under my dad’s season ticket guests. Although as the website says ‘usual areas’ I’m assuming it would have to be where he is.
He’s missing Forest and likely going...
I actually wanted us to have the play off round because the second leg would have been at home on my birthday. Saw the game in Morocco and pride doesn’t even begin to explain how I feel about being top of our group in our first European season.
Top of the so called ‘group of death’ with two...
I was waiting until the guest window to open to book tickets for me and my dad who's a STH (we both went in 2019 but couldn't sit together, we wanted to do that this year), and was waiting on funds to hit my bank. Had to sit and watch each section dwindle with each click on the ticket page...

No sub for LB but we know we have cover there.
Quoting to echo, except I've never been to Edinburgh. I check-in on the easyjet app and use my apple wallet for the boarding pass, and I only ever bring a backpack and suitcase for the compartment. Not sure how I'd feel about being there for four hours, but it would make me think more about what...
My hope in this week was completely misplaced. We're closed for a long time now.
Will have to give Universal Credit another go, first time in four years.
Until all live music is cancelled we still have shifts. If we can work until the end of this week then I should have enough to get by.
Was meant to start a new job in mid-April too. Not looking likely now.
I do my best to avoid the same old Xmas tunes. I got fed up of them years ago.
My favourite alternatives;
And the Pet Shop Boys, of course, do a good Chrimbo tune. Originally recorded in 1997 for the fan club, released as a proper single 10 years ago.
At least trial one cashless kiosk for each stand. I get paid in cash but put it all in the bank, much rather tap and go than wait around for change and have a heavy wallet in my pocket. I can keep track of my finances with the NatWest app.
