I'd like to wish eveyone a happy Advent as that's the current religious season. I know you may not believe in it but I still hope eveyone is going to have a good and happy time BEFORE we get to the season Christmas which starts on Christmas eve.

So what do we exactly celebrate in a 'midwinter festival' and why would it be any less b*ll**ks that celebrating the natvity of Christ?

I was there Thursday. I would loved to have stayed for the Friday but I went home happy that the championship was all but there for the taking. It was amazing day especially at the end when Mushy seemed to be taking wickets at will. He must be Sussex's greatest ever cricketer.

I know its been mentioned on another thread but we must get the club to move the proposed parade from Monday Lunchtime to Sunday. We need the power of NSC campaigning to get this changed. Any ideas for action? contact the club, council, Argus or radio sations?

Just back from the County Ground. Matt Prior was amazing and its a good win with the G&G final coming up on Saturday. Our batting is in great form, but I just hope our bowling can hold it together, as we've been conceeding quite a few runs lately.
