Why is it none of you trolls are commenting on your clubs appalling behaviour over Poogate, indefensible is it?

And it's a good job Tony Bloom helped a cash strapped club out financially when CPFC2010 took over

Brighton have kindly offered to provide their coverage of the match free of charge. This is a 5 camera coverage. In other words the feed will be the same as they show on their screens. Without that it would have been too expensive to put this on as we'd have had to stump up to pay for the outside broadcast unit - eg cameras, cameramen etc.

The bulk of the cost is the Satellite link. This involves having a satellite truck at both ends (Brighton and Selhurst) and the cost of this is somewhere between £5000 and £6000. We could have done it much cheaper by having an internet feed but that could have been poor quality, could have cut out or even failed to work.

The cost of stewarding and opening the stadium is at least £1000. So it's about £6000 to £7000 to put it on.

Catering and bar staff are extra but that should be more than covered by bar income.

We have really not done this to make money but if there is a surplus (assuming that more than 700 people turn up) then any proceeds will go to the Academy. If under 700 people turn up we'll still go ahead of course but will lose money on it

And they paid him back with Poogate! Nice people

For which game was this, SF?

You do realise that Brighton didn't pay their creditors in full when they got in a spot of bother in the 90's don't you?

Or maybe 'Spanish flair' wasn't around in those days...

We were sold out,you spent out twice, get it ?

This Dork has used the Palace brain cell to calculate the average gate for the Withdean, when BZ played there.
Brilliant deduction, I am just going to slap myself around the face in shock :lolol:

May I suggest you all see a psychiatrist to help with the daily pain of knowing Palace are by far the bigger club at present and for most of history:thumbsup:
I couldn't care less tbh - fun and games is fun and games but I'm not going to get all stressy about Palace fans (possibly excepting if they're posting like pricks, in which case they'll get reported I guess). It's not
like your Leeds or anything. Or Ipswich :)

I'm sure if you read most posts be 'normal' fans, beware of what you wish for..............AJ was re-signed, how did that work out? (not even sure we really signed him tbh!!) I'm one for never going back, the past is the past, he wont be how you remember him and it will be a shame when you all get on his back (unless hes always on his back on the physios table)

Some things are best left in the past, some of you saying he will get 10 - 15 goals are living in cloud cuckoo land, dont expect too much QPHAHAHA done that

Tbf, he's probably not far wrong. It was only during the latter seasons at the Withdean that we were regularly filling the place. It may be hard to admit it, but it's a fact that the vast majority of fans that will be in the Amex Friday night won't have ever seen BZ play for us.

It wasn't sold out every week but was pretty full, which considering the place that wasn't a bad result, it wasn't fit for football.

6k, 7k or 8k attendances were not the same faces every week either, we only had 3-4k season ticket holders then, I'd say 15k+ would have seen Bobby. But since then we have a new era, for instance between me and my mates we have easily have 10 kids between us who would nt have seen Bobby play, some weren't even born. It's just some prat trying to wind us up.

If they want to talk about attendances they couldn't even sell out against their rivals or premiership games, we were averaging bigger attendances....!!!
