In that case (as you clearly know and have talked to plenty of Premier league club scouts) we won't sell him. He's under contract with us until 2018 and is still relatively young for a centre back

Murray- We didn't match Palace's wages
Elphick and Cook- Both as far as we know didn't want to leave but were too far down the pecking order so left for regular football
Ulloa- I think we got an outstanding transfer fee for him

No thats not what I said. He is adequate for us and is still devloping but is not yet ready for the step up only to a Premier reserve team for them to continue his learning not as a first choice.

I can't greatly imagine Dunk being wowed by the sudden interest in the muttish likes of Derby and Fulham. And i doubt we'd have a reasonable idea in our heads for an agreeable fee for a prize asset to a rival. The price would be obscene and out of their league. If this opens up a bidding war in the top flight for him - obviously against all the advice that Bensgrandad has received from his fee-writing cadre of scouts - then fair enough, we oughtn't stand in his way of progress. This ain't it though. He'll keep getting better, and do so with us.

At the end of their careers seeking to extend it by a year or so, Like all others on here this is just my opinion and could be wide of the mark or spot on only time will tell. I hope that he stays with us and continues to improve as he has done over the past 18 months.

Yes that's right, he's put over 200m of his own money into the club, with ongoing annual losses in the millions, just so that he can build a hotel that might make 2-3m profit per year. Good business plan.
