Poyet explores loan striker option?

I'm not going to criticise individual players but I do believe Poyet is playing a system inherited from last season that he should have binned the moment we'd secured Bruno and Bridge.

We have two of the best attacking full-backs in the division and we don't need 5 midfielders as well. This just slows things down as it involves another body in the build-up. I'd say Poyet's biggest mistake to date has been his failure to secure an out and out striker for this season.

That said, there's still time to sort this situation.

Well, yes, that is accurate if you ignore the defensive headers (at least two from corners), tracking back, tackling, chasing, harrying and overall solid play. He was one of the only players to contribute anything decent on Saturday.

However, I rate Ashley Barnes, you don't, therefore I look for the good things he does, you look for the bad.
You are wrong, I desparately look for the good,... nothing much so far.

Is that "fortunate"? Is that not unfortunate, as opposed to seeing Barnes have a run of great games, and goals that see his detractors slowly fall by the wayside. It's almost as if you are willing him to play badly. Surely not.

Fair enough, then we clearly view the game differently. For one, I see our striker, who plays on left wing, making more constructive defensive headers than our centre-back and captain from set pieces. I also see Barnes pulling defenders all over the place in order to give Bridge the acres of space he always has to run in to.

As I said to you before. You have absolutely nothing to say, and you say it too loudy. Now either post a view of your own, or run along and annoy the other children :tosser:

Amazing. How can I 'say' something too loudly if I've never 'said' anything?

And, if I wasn't posting my 'own' view (that you say the same, recycled nonsense every time), then who's 'view' was I posting?

I quite enjoy that I have merely said you repeat yourself and use the words 'boring' and 'dull'. I have then been called "f***ing stupid" and had a "wanker" sign at me (that hurt). Seems as though you don't like ANY form of criticism and react badly to it.

I take critism all the time mate and don't give a shit about it. But "boring and Dull" are exactly what I would discribe people who can only have a dig at other who express their view.

If you don't like what I post don't read it. If you have to, and then feel the need to post the shit you do, then you are a dull and boring little :tosser:

Disagree with me over Barnes and I won't have a problem. Many do, I think they are wrong as I do them, but we can all live with that. The problem I have is with snide little :tossers: like your good self. Critise my view, fair enough, we all have different opinions. Critise someone for having a view, then I'll call you a :tosser:..... because you are.

And by the way, the first sentenace about saying nothing to loudly was a joke. Think about. You may have realise that if your head wasn't jammed so firmly up your own arse!

Wow. I think this sums up my whole point nicely. "I don't give a shit about criticism"...followed by this.

Whatever you think darling. As I said, if your head wasn't so firmly rammed up your own arse you would see how stupid that looks.

But you are never wrong.

You can't be. You don't have any views on anything.

Just keep posting your one line thread fillers. There's a good lad.

I've stated my view previously on Barnes. I believe he is an excellent team player, but I only feel the need to post it once.

My criticism is that you state your same view OVER and OVER and OVER again. We all get it. You don't like him and never will. You don't like him if he scores. You don't like him if he clears corners. You don't like him if he sets up a chance.

I will never criticise someone for having an opinion. It's their right.

Where you have let yourself down clearly in this thread is you have completely flown off the handle at the slightest criticism of your opinion being repeated again. I never criticised your right to an opinion. I called you dull for repeating it again. You called me "f***ing stupid", a "child", a "Tosser" (via the tosser smiley).

It was a massive over-reaction on your part, summed up in such a manner that your rant was punctuated with so many spelling errors that it was obvious you were frantically typing your abuse towards me.

That's the last I'll say on it as, again, this has escalated to an abusive rant by yourself which was uncalled for.

Good assesment. Barnes headed it powerfully, and kept it down. The keeper just kept it out and was lucky that the rebound didn't go in. Hammond and Crofts both had just as clear headed opportunities (Hammond's was basically IDENTICAL to Barnes'), but its Barnes who is to blame. Well done.

First time ive ever critisised Barnes, I just thought he should have buried it, IMHO it lacked power, when it was a perfect height to put away. You saw it differently, thats your opinion.

Odd but what you've written actually describes what I think of your posts.....

He should have scored, but the missed headers from Hammond and Crofts were both FAR worse. Especially Hammond, unmarked from a corner. Sunday League header.

We did of course have the striker we need ..... but for some unfathomable reason we let him go up the road .... for nothing!!
