I am 40 and haven't played football at any level for about 10 years, so that might hinder me having a professional career, I am even older than Teddy Sheringham. On the plus side I am still in pretty good shape, my fitness levels are more than reasonable, today I swam 2K without drowning or having a coronary, always a good thing. Perhaps I could come on as sub in injury time at the end of the game, when we are winning, and just hoof the ball up the pitch to waste time.
