it isnt justified, but how is protest in other nations got anything to do with it? we have no responsibilty, nor have any impact in their domestic problems. its only a cause for those that want any cause to take to the streets, expect to see "socialist workers" placards in London.

Er, because it happens here as well remember ? Lots of suspicious deaths " In Custody " over the years, quite a high percentage of these deaths are BAME people. And, equally they are protesting at hideous treatment from those that are meant to be protecting us, look up Ian Tomlinson for one.

I rate our police highly, not just from watching them on TV! They’ve been helpful to me often. Mark Duggan was a dangerous drug dealing gang member, with an active gun. The police until not that far back in time had contained more than a few rotten apples, racist, corrupt coppers and detectives, such as the mates of Stephen Lawrence’s murderers. But imho police of that ilk have been purged or retired.

I don’t blame the protestors in London showing solidarity and empathy for blacks murdered by US police, we know it’s still prevalent, a macho gun-slinging culture amongst some or their law enforcement agencies, treating African Americans and others as scum. A world away from the UK.

I'm glad that you've had good dealings with the police, but I have to differ based on my experience of both Sussex and South Yorkshire's finest.

Corrupt as **** and mostly only interested in ticking a box and getting a promotion. Never mind whose lives they destroy.

And the good ones (I've met quite a few) can't get to the top, because they have to back up the shits. Or they won't climb the greasy pole.

There's a very good reason why they're called The Filth.

He could well be electioneering, but let's face it. While shutting its own country down, China essentially exported coronavirus to the world while the WHO said this was fine, world without borders, nothing to see here. The Chinese Communist leaders and the WHO deserve the opprobrium.

Hands up anyone who thinks Trump would have done as much as China if the virus had originated in the US. He would have done even less than he did to protect the US and certainly wouldn't have risked his re-election by doing anything to hurt the economy.

I didn't mention Mark Duggan, I referred to those who somehow died " In Custody " , there have been plenty.

Gosh every thread I open appears to have you spitting venom everywhere, I wonder what one of our best moderators would think of your Sussex Police appraisal.

Are you ok?

Spitting venom? I've made a couple of comments, one replying to your nonsense. That's all. I'm very well thanks. You're a very odd person.

I was the victim of a corrupt copper and ex-copper in the mid-80’s, so I do understand. I remember your story, plus SYP .... enough said.

Are the old “odd person”rebuttal, mostly used when a nerve has been touched! As I said calm down petal.
As Weststander said, I was replying to him and you decided to pop your comment in. Fair enough, but don't get your skirt in a knot when you get called out for bullshit.

It happens often enough to you on here, I'd have thought you'd have a thick skin by now. You're just making yourself look silly. Well, more silly than usual. Which is a decent effort tbf.

Let's be very clear. I'm being nice. I don't want to insult or publicly embarrass you. It would be very easy to do so. I'm in no way upset by ANYTHING you could possibly say about me on an internet forum.

Mainly because I'm completely confident that my real life is really rather good. I'm lucky. Lots of people aren't because of the politics of the people you blindly follow.

I'm guessing that you're not a teenager though? In which case, it might be an idea to stop posting like one. Just a bit of advice mate.

Regards,

LLx

I love that the fact that you have taken the trouble to post a lovely long response( which you’ll deny) , all I’m still saying is calm down and read the original post I made which gave you the brain fart and realise I said “the article “

That’s all

Where is "the article" mentioned in this post, your first to me on this thread btw?

Would you like a spade as digging desperately with your bare hands is a bit unseemly?
