Well this has worked well;

Robinson said: “Obviously the batsmen are hurting as they are paid to score runs but you have to feel some sympathy for them as the wickets in the last four matches have been very challenging.

“It does dent your confidence and belief. Some of them are a bit shell-shocked at the moment and when you can’t trust the bounce on a pitch that is when doubt starts to creep in but it is our job as coaches to try to build them up again.”

We Sussex folk are having a bad time at present. Our batting is absolutely abysmal, since Goodwin left we have no longer got anyone on board that I can imagine scoring a ton every couple of innings or so. Luke does his bit, but bashing it whatever seems to be what he is stuck with. With the exception of Ollie the later editions to the squad are crepe. Yardy has totally lost his batting and bowling...... oh dear.

So, we're basically 1 for 5. About par for the course this season.

The clue in that post is HORSHAM which is usually a superb wicket - we should play all our games there......

I'm sure I remember Somerset mullering us at Horsham once,Trescothick got a big ton and I'm sure they posted about 600

I should apply to Paddy Power or Betfred about becoming a Sussex odds specialist.
