Also a part time spinner (Wells) now has 2 wickets.

Does bring into question why Beer was not picked, especially as Hudson-Prentice has hardly been used as a bowler.

Very much this.

Odds on Briggs running through Sussex this afternoon?

Usual story, the door to the middle order wide open as expected, I suppose 47 for the first wicket is a slight improvement but can't see us digging in and scoring more than 250. Pants will rattle up 350+ and we will probably lose by an innings or be bowled out for cheap chasing 340 or thereabouts as usual.

Nothing to see here, keep moving.

Revised prediction for 2nd innings:

Sussex 237 all out, Pants chase down the 100 odd needed losing 3 wickets.

An absolute omni-shambles again.

This has a feel of a relegation slump.
