Well, it worked with David Moyes and West Ham. Although his contract wasn't renewed rather than being sacked.

He signed a contract extension with Spurs in 2018 that would keep him there until 2023.
Then he got sacked. Presumably still being paid off.
If he's lucky he could be be on two contacts from Levy running concurrently!
