we are staying right in the square. was lively there last year and cheaper than the strip!!

yeah last year, everyone all seemed to just do their own thing but im all for a meet up if thats what everyone wants. Definately think we need to get organised for the 3rd game as that looks like a taxi job, especially getting back afterwards.

I am as on me tod from Sunday to Wednesday till mate arrives and staying a bit further out, so what is the difference between the strip and square ?

And as never been there are they close to each other ?

You can get the train to Olhao for the Pork and Cheese game, but not back.
Really looking forward to this.

The Strip is the new town, the square is the old town. They are not really close to each other although i did walk it last year.
Most nights i spent outside a bar cant remember the name but it had a marcel marceau type mime artist outside walking up and down entertaining people, we will more than likely be wearing Brighton shorts or shirts of some sort and you are more than welcome to join us if you want.

Last year you couldn't get a bus back from the portemonense game, from what i understand the 3rd game is near Faro, a good half hours drive from Albufiera, so we really need to get thinking about travel for this one, for anyone planning on going.

The frist two games, spurs and psg are at the Albufiera municipal stadium, its about a 20/30 minute walk from the old town. Like i said above, i think the 3rd game is near Faro

there was about 3 or 4 hundred last year and that was at short notice, so hopefully more this year.

If memory serves me right, last year v sunderland was at 9pm, i think this was to allow it to cool down a bit, i think Portmonense was earlier but cant really remember
