Brighton factually.....
I threaten to "duff up" my warehouse manager up occasionally....
(he is 6ft 6 and an ex boxer, no way I can even scrape his chin)

"Duff" had a couple of meanings

This bit of Scalextric track is duff -- it is broke.
Duffed up - got beaten up by kids at school again.
My girlfriend is up the duff (pregnant) -- My girlfriends dad is coming round to duff me up.

I grew up near one in Bexhill.

I walk along that twitten most days. There is also another one just down the road from there towards the bottom of Meads Road

When I started “ stepping out” with Mrs Loz, or are you stepping out with them, I use that saying which I am told is old fashioned.

I also say “50 new pence”, but not about any other coins .
