Grammar; don't you just love it!

(Must check if that is the correct use of a semi colon?)

It's the all time classic 'the double negative', which sits comfortably in the top 10 alongside the misuse of 'there, their and they're' and the verb 'to of'.

Switched on this morning. Of the most recent 40 posts, 2:ffsparr: just two posts are about the Albion!
A few about footie in general & the majority about irrelevance (like this thread!)

Then you're not thinking of NSC in the right way. View it as a virtual pub. When you go to the pub is all you talk about the Albion ?

Some people see these mistakes straight away and other people do not see it at all.

The answer should be, that none of the letters in 'Hull City' can be coloured in. But you've spolied it a bit by adding the football club bit...

Hull City is the name of the City though. That could get confusing for someone in a pub quiz if you didn't put the FC in?

and anyway...

FC? how can you colour that in?

Clutching at straws.

Officially the city is Kingston Upon Hull.

I see my error. There is no such team as Hull City FC. It's actually Hull City AFC (Which would be shit for the question).

I do apologise and hope I've not bothered anyones day.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
I thought they were Hull City Tigers now - or did I just imagine that.
