Just after The Complete Badger posted "I think that may well have just proven the point of the thread. I mean how do you even know who he is?!", you pop up with this moronic post. The irony is that it's ferocity leads me to suspect that you must be "Potter", in which case Seagulls over Grimsby was only highlighting your original point. Even if s/he was criticising you, your comments are totally out of order. You need to apologise to him/her straight away, and to people with cerebral palsy or those whose kids have it.

Nottseagull

".....and to people with cerebral palsy or those whose kids have it".

You are spot on.

I dont give a fu@k about whether WW has been given a hard time on this thread or not. His use of the word "spastic" was well out of order.

Apologies, I really should have thought that through. I've probably offended disabled people everywhere by comparing them to Seagullsovergrimsby :nono:

WW

For what its worth. I also thought chanting about you at a game was also well out of order.

Interesting that they had the "courage" as a group of 20 to pick on you. Maybe seeing you as a "easy" target?

I think you will find that the "disabled" in society often suffer the same fate. As has been proved recently on this board when posters have poked fun at "windowl!ckers", seeing them as a "soft" target? ???

Meh. I dunno. There's this lanky kid I see from time to time in Asda Hollingbury who always comes up to me and will never tell me who he is. Funnily enough he always says he knows Brett, as if that will give me a clue seeing as I've spoken to Brett about twice in real life. The kid seems well fuckin' weird. He was actually playing the last time I got invited to the comedy crew's 6-a-side at Burgess Hill, so someone must know him, but sadly he seems to have no discernable personality, which made things a bit difficult when me and my mates tried to tease his name out of him. I call him Asda Man.

But, ya know, if it wasn't for NSC I'd never have met Danny Seagull, and he's probably given me the two funniest incidents of my pitiful life in Brighton (involving my scouse girlfriend when I was 17 and a tramp called Laurence). So it's worth the weirdness.

Probably a good time to point out - I'm not saying you shouldn't MEET people off NSC, but stalking them is just plain weird/WRONG. Particularly if it involves abusing them when you don't actually know them!

I've yet to meet a NSCer I haven't liked...but stalking is just not on really? (Unless it involves Elder for England :jester:)

Then, you should have gone over to the group chanting about you and seen what each of them had to say to you face to face? ???

a) I didn't hear them, thankfully

b) If I had have done, then the above statement would obviously not be true. But why would I want to meet such obvious dicks?

WW

"But why would I want to meet such obvious dicks?"

Fair play and I understand where you are coming from.

What I would would ask of those chanting about you. Is why did the posters need to form themselves into a group to have a "pop" at you, rather than saying it to your face?

Bit like the old days when the "scarfers" used to be picked on? ???

I think anyone who gets mortally offended by the word 'spastic' should steer clear of the board to be honest.
