They are just ridiculous. Flags fly all the time for different reasons.

Let’s imagine there is a big issue off the Lincolnshire coast and the RNLI save loads of lives. I assume it would be woke to put up their flag to celebrate?

Didn’t they Tend to fly the Ukraine flag in support for a while? Too woke?

Let’s be honest. What they mean is. “We hate gay people so we won’t allow pride flag”

Is it not just a case of stick to the country / council flags to avoid any political agenda? (From a Reform point of view)

Yep, as mentioned. It’s the pride flag they don’t want to fly.

Good luck with that. Councils are ultra-inclusive and anyone who has ever done any training for them can attest to that.

I would say it’s their top priority by some margin.

And I agree, but assume with Reform now In control of several councils DEI is set to disappear, no?

Well so far they have announced they are sacking DEI staff in Lincolnshire.

Until it was pointed out to them Lincolnshire doesn’t currently employ and DEI staff.

Maybe they’ll just pick some random brown people and sack them.

😁

Classic

I'm curious to find out if that's just simply Lincolnshire though, do we know if any of the other Reform councils have any DEI staff?

I don't really know too much about Kent etc

I was visiting family in Belfast when the order came through that no British flags were to be flown or hung anywhere in the city.

Some of the worst violence the city had seen since 1998.

Dictating to people what or who they can and cannot demonstrate their legitimate allegiance to rarely works out well.

It'll be nice seeing the British flag, St George flag and county flags flying proudly.

Like they already do 🤦🏻

Can you show me where any St George flags / county flags are on display on council owned buildings?
@TomandJerry - I think you have misunderstood their policy statement. It is that 'no flags other than the Union Jack, St George, and county flags may be flown on council buildings'. They are not saying 'we will start flying these flags on council buildings when we weren't flying flags before' - which is what your statement seems to be implying you have taken it to be.

I started off thinking you were genuinely interested in discussing Reform, but it feels to me as though you're just trolling now.

A misunderstanding yes and I'm happy to the proven otherwise, trolling no

What I can't justify is the ban on Ukrainian flags.

But I take your point well and tend to agree

Just so I’m clear;

Gullible thick people are being targeted by malevolent powers that want them to vote against their own interests yet we aren’t allowed to recognise that?

We are the ones that didn’t get fooled but in order to spare the blushes of the nitwits, we have to keep quiet?

Do people have any idea how f***ing insane that is?
I find it very difficult as well when the only people I personally know that support Reform and Farage are just so chronically hard of thinking. Conspiracy theory believers, Yaxley-Lennon followers on Twitter, Trump fans etc. You cannot reason with them.
