Seaside's response to a question from a Brighton fan on BBS.

Just to clear this up: I made a joke in which I offered 12 different bets with odds ranging from 10/1 to 1000/1, forgot about it and didn't mention anything of the sort again. I have no idea who took me up on a bet, and I certainly didn't respond to anyone who wanted to take me up on it.

There was no mention of me giving any money to REMF - I was taking the piss and you're asking me to give away a few grand? Yeah, no.

Apparently, Dougie isn't going to be in place in time to take charge this weekend. It appears he has left CP, but not yet agreed a deal with Bolton. Wouldn't it be funny if something comes up and he fails to agree terms with Bolton, leaving him without a job and Palace without a manager.

(Though, I'm sure he will sign with Bolton)

Bookies odds for manager appointments mean absolutely nothing. One person places a bet on and so the odds drop a bit, then the rumours start spreading across things like Twitter and so the odds drop more and then rumours grow larger. Just goes round in stupid circle like that.

Freedman won't leave Palace to go to Bolton

Hands up - got this well and truly WRONG.

That is a disgrace.

However, he technically hasn't WELCHED until Greedman is formally appointed manager of a non-Premier League club.

It's a strange move. I couldn't understand Coyne from Burnley to Bolton and I can't understand this one either. Must be something he doesn't much like behind the scenes at Palace.

Apparrently he's been promised a year's supply of Warburton's sliced bread, 10 tickets to a Peter Kay show (Garlic Bread!) and a go on Vernon Kay's mum (off of the flora margarine advert).

Likewise. All the Palace posters saying how Gus will be off as soon as he can, while Dougie was loyal and there for the long term, and I started to believe them

It's one thing to go to a Premier League club, but to leave for Bolton  That is truly embarrassing.
