Laughing at Palace.

We should all remember that he who laughs last laughs loudest. Albion should have bigger fish to fry than Palace when you compare the two clubs and hopefully we will do soon but they are still likely to be in the pay offs and then anything can happen

Well said WCP .
You do come across as a pompous prat , but occasionally you do come out with a nugget .

To be fair they've had an unbelievable season if they manage to finish in the play offs

Not after being top for so long though.

Holloway has turned an excellent team, set to finish in the top two, into a team struggling to get into the playoffs. Players fighting (and crying) in the dressing room, Glenn looks disinterested, and Zaha is already thinking about the bench at Old Trafford next season.

And that's despite the fact that the likes of Leicester, Boro, Leeds etc have massively underachieved in the latter part of the season.

I don't want to play them as there is always the risk of losing to them, BUT a little bit of me thinks we'd be better off playing them rather then Bolton.

You certainly don't want to meet Palace in the pay offs.

How so? We shouldn't ever have bigger fish to fry than Palace. If we're in a division above them at any stage, our future games with them will still be the biggest.

I hate all this premature posturing. If they knock us out, all this will count for nothing.
At some point they will get some luck....... Or in their case another penalty.

Interestingly, the Palace posters who are left on this board, seem to be quite sensible (at times) and enter into the banter, but if we lose to them we'll get hammered on here.

I actually hope Hull or Watford beat them after they draw with Peterboro.

On a different point, Hull were awful I cannot understand how they made the play-offs let alone be on the border of automatic promotion.

As long as palace don't beat us or win the play offs we will have bragging rights and can laugh then, even if we don't go up. We've been proven the official better team over the 46 games as palace fans were so quick to point out only a few months ago...

We finished above them, and right now, that counts for something. It makes me happy for a start, and before the playoffs, I will enjoy that. If we know them out their victory in December will count for nothing - in fact, their whole season will count for nothing, but that doesn't mean they didn't get to enjoy the good times while they could.

Of course we shouldn't get cocky or complacent about the playoffs, but to not enjoy the moment now, for what it is, defeats the object of being a fan.

If Palace draw against 'boro, they'll probably play us.

On current form, Palace only won 1 in last 10 , 'boro only lost one in the last 10 ,
I have just placed a bet on 'boro to win

Who gives a damn football is all about ups and downs and they will come back and have their time but let's hope it's several decades away. Until then I will take every opportunity possible to laugh at Palace especially when they are so giving at the moment we are almost spoilt.

Palace lol please keep Hollohead!

i think many on here were tipping palace to go down earlier in the season,
they have had a good season and while most fans would consider they have imploded, they have been at the top most of the season,so palace fans have had good run for their money.

I have a horrible feeling that all these laughing at Palace threads will come back to bite us, if they beat us final league positions will count for nothing. Can we not hold on the gloating until its all done and dusted

Whatever happens happens. But in the League format we were better than them again. They will have to rely on an unjust cup knockout system to better us , if they can get into it.

22nd Palace 42 6 4 11 32 37 0 3 18 15 46 19 points= relegation 13 points adrift.

I'll bet some Palace fans were pleased to turn the page on their club calendar yesterday. May is Dougie Freedman
