Has there been an update on Igor's injury?
Warren and Johnny on the Radio Sussex post match show were guessing that it may be an achilles injury.
It would be devastating if it were.

Saw his top level experience today. Never panicked, even when Liverpool got on top in spells he was the one to calm things down when we got the ball back.

Thought it may be a calf injury. International break coming at the right time.
He played well. Not blessed with pace but added some much needed physicality and calm on the ball.

He's certainly got a physical presence. Bloke has thighs the size of tree trunks and I didn't realise that brick shithouses came in a Brazilian XXXXL.

Had a good game. Always takes time to get used to the PL speed and De Zerbi Ball.

Thought he looked decent in every game he's played. Folk just decided he should be the scapegoat in the Athens game
Beg to differ. In the Athens game, it wasn't mistakes, he didnt play bad, and he wasnt a scapegoat..... but he was very slow in moving the ball / in transition. Gross, was waving his arms at him at least once, in what looked like move it quicker.

Slowing the game down suited Athens, Colwill last season, and Dunk, Webster, JPVH do move quicker out of defence.

That said it was his first start, he was paired with JPVH and today showed what a good player he is, very slick in the pass and moved it out much quicker today than v AEK.

Not how I saw it at all. He was terrible v Athens and incredibly slow for pace. Is decent on the ball for sure and was much better overall today.
