Brazilian centre-back at Fiorentina sketchily linked to us...

"At the same time even in England his performances had not gone unnoticed, in fact realities such as Brentford, Brighton and Leeds had requested information. However, it is evident that the interest remained so as Fiorentina immediately raised the wall to keep the Brazilian in the rose, valuing the player over 20 million. A situation to keep an eye on, especially if the player were to return in the second part of the season to the glories of the past one so as to push the clubs interested to move concretely to get his card."

oooh Bozza starting a signing thread.... always has just a little more credibility...
That's absolutely not the case at all - the club keep its cards VERY close to its chest nowadays.

I'm just surprised to have noticed a rumour before any of our other super sleuths on here.

He seems to be left footed, so fits our requirement

Style of play also looks about right:

24 is a little older than usual for us, but fine if he slots straight into the team.

Left footed centre back who can play LB as well? Sounds like a go-er, or at least more realistic than the vast majority of the rumours we hear flying around.

Fiorentina are no mugs though, they'll hold out for as much money as they can possibly get, and everyone knows we've got money these days.

Out scouting is so legendary these days that selling clubs and/or agents probably falsely link us to their players to increase the price.
