bha is a football club ffs.
Polital correctness wins again, what a waste of money. Why not spend the money offering kids from the brighton estates free places on football in the community courses held over the holidays..........:US:

Hardly any gays like football and the ones that do probably wouldn't admit to it.

why are we pampering to these "types"

Thats a generalisation , not all gay men like knitting and ballroom dancing and still like to watch sport. Next you'll be saying there are no gay plumbers , electricians , hod carriers or bricklayers because its a blokes job they're doing.

percentage wise its not even worth a mention LB ,what do you reckon less than 5% of gay followers of each football league club
It's not about numbers. It's about tolerance.

If I was to tell you that one of my gay friends used to play professional football, but was unable to come out during his time at his [league] club, would that disturb you?

Believe me ... Justin Fashanu wasn't the only gay professional footballer in history.

Lord B. You are wasting your time. Das Reich sees gay people as being effeminate and non-masculine. The sort of player that would make a meal out of a challenge and demand a substitution as the slightest injur...oh.

"Gay friends" I beleive is a NSC euphanism for fellow bum jumpers.:wrong:

Best to be on the safe side like Das Riech and not have any friends at all, just in case one "turns".:bigwave:

The left prop for Hove RFC in the mid sixties was an ex-services 16 stone brick shithouse built macho man. He was also gay and use to win the scrums by deliberately tickling the balls of the opposing forward saying "Hello me old darling how are you today?" putting them off. He was also told off by the club captain for going into the club showers to look at the colts cocks.

Poofs are disgusting and should hang their heads in shame. We should not be promoting their abnormal behaviour. Being called a faggot is the worst insult in the world. Our club will become a laughing stock at this rate.

It's a popular misconception by many of those who have no idea that all gay men are like Julian Clary. I've worked with plenty of gay guys who weren't the slightest bit camp. It's also worth noting that a lot of body builders are gay, hardly a 'bunch of mincers'.

Perhaps Gully's Girls will be replaced by local drag queens for the event?

Better have a word with some of my cross dressing chums. Being serious for a change, why should The Albion be chosen to host an evening on Homophobia? Why not get Fuham, Chelsky, Manchester or Bournemouth to entertain the event.

That's being disingenuous to say the least, Brighton City PRIDE's itself on it's large percentage of LGBT population.

The problem is, there more you have, the more you will attract, hence the move out of Brighton of older more traditional families, whilst you get a younger, more "tolerant" population.

He who lives by the pork sword....

I suspect that a lot of the reason behind last Thursday's "setting-up" of Nick Griffin was not his background or race views but his perceived homophobic ones.

Since the principal homosexual act with males is one of submission by one man to another, it's hardly surprising that straight men worry more about being bullied into a homosexual act, than being Clary'd into one, where they would be the "straight" participant - I believe you lot call it the "stone".

Name names, Lord B.....

I remember an episoode of the ITV cop show "The Bill" which virtually said the same thing, the actors in the end had to read dialogue which had obviously been written by the PC PC brigade, imploring footballers to "Come out" so that crowds would no longer want to abuse homos.

A bit like that end-scene in"Slap Shot"....
