What has sexuality got to do with football. Watch the game go home and f***ed who you want. As long as its legal of course.

Are there exclusions for Swansea fans though ? :sheep::sheep::sheep::sheep:

Nothing really, but don't you find it odd that everyone in football is straight? Why is that? Football dominates British life and a lot of people learn things from football. It is a powerful tool. Tolerance is essential, but somewhat lacking when it comes to soccer.

Who says "everyone in football is straight" ?
How the f*** would you even KNOW their sexual preferences - and why SHOULD anyone know...or care?

Alright, so our defense is a bit limp-wristed, but maybe they are trying to tell us something.

But really, as has been said above - football has eff-all to do with sexuality, and I personally don't want it to either. It's bad enough hearing about their girl-group bimbo marriages, bar fights, driving offenses and drinking habits as it is.

It's not about footballers being gay or coming out as gay, it's about the bigger picture.

There's an undercurrent of homophobia in football; from the terraces, within clubs, on the pitch. It needs to be eradicated.

It'll take time, but The Justin Campaign is working with many different spheres of the game to educate and inform different sections of society.

Football has the power to teach tolerance and understanding.

Guy Butters, Charlie Oatway, Paul Hayward (Guardian football writer), and the club's community department were there last night, along with a host of other eminent journalists.

I think it's very positive that the club are getting involved.

What I don't understand is why people get so worked up about the issue. So the albion is hosting one event. Thats one evening. It's not pandering to minorities, it's not PC gone mad, it's just responsible behaviour in making sure the sport is inclusive. And if you can't deal with that then you should take a long look at yourself and ask the question, how did I end up such a small minded bigot.
