The Astral Planes, man...
My mate said he saw Odemwingie drive up to the Amex before the palace game and start handing out signed photos of himself in the stripes. But then a tall thin figure in a balaclava came up to him and said: "Eeees complicated, you are too early, come back next week"

He would be a good shout if we wanted a young loan striker but do we, do we not need experience at this stage of the season.

I suggested David Connolly at Portsmouth who is an experienced man to come on for 20 mins to put the ball in the net and Pompey would be grateful for the cash I would think.

There could be some players at the top of Gus's list that have changed their mind after Sunday's performance.

That makes me an idiot consider the scenario 15 mins to go at Forest 1 -0 down we have Dicker Crofts Barker Connolly Dunk and Ankergren on the bench who would you send on. I know my answer straight away with no hesitation

It would depend who was on the pitch wouldn't it.

Simon Church does tick a lot of the boxes.

Height
Experience at this level
Probably available
Probably motivated to do well
Good age
Fit

The only doubt is goalscoring, but who is to say he couldn't do a good job overall and the goals may come given proper supply which he won't have had at Huddersfield.
