This has all the ingredients for a proper pot mess. I hope this is an absolute meltdown.

Palace fans already salivating over the classy loan players Paddy will attract from City and Arsenal.

Has anyone explained the PL loan rules to them?

I feel they may be in for a disappointment.

Lucky for Palace that Vieira accepted the gig.

If he'd turned them down as well Simon Jordan would have been left with just W, X,Y and Z to go in his Utilita Football Yearbook.

You just know this will work out for them, if not, beaky will have a firefighter on speed dial, and they will still stay up, above us.

It's palace after all.

Hmmm It's a risk for sure. I predict they will sack him in November with nil points , get in Allardyce and finish 3 points above us.

Only 2 at any one time, only one from a club,I.e. they could have 1 from City and 1 from Arsenal, but not 2 from City.
Only 4 loans in total over the whole season.

Fulham had 7 last season

We will be gifting them 3 points on the 25th September.

Since his signing the bookies have shortened Palace relegation odds to 6\4 .

PaddyPower only have the three that came up on shorter odds :lolol:

Watford 4/5
Norwich 10/11
Brentford Evs
Palace 6/4

Even though they are our main rivals so we are biased, I think this job is a poisoned chalice with the situation they are in.
How on earth could they allow a situation whereby so many players are out of contract or heading off to collect their state pension at the end of a season.
PV May turn out to be an astute manager, but I couldn’t imagine AF or Pep doing a good job for them, unless they have suddenly come into a few bob. Piss poor management has been going on for years there, and I think they will struggle this coming season.
I give it 12 games before panic sets in and fat Sam or similar comes in to firefight.
