Your not as happy with your transfer as everyone else outside of cpfc though. I can honestly say that I have never witnrssed such an obvious display of outright desparation before.

So many players turning you down/refusing to talk to you. One player even turned up, took one look and ran off. You turn attention to a has been ex player to appease the 'fans' but even manage to screw that up. Your manager openly admits that he can't attract players to your club and is ready to sign anyone. Your 5yrplan fanzine lot are spouting off about having agreed deals with players whilst then going on to say that all that was missing was an agreed fee - has anyone associated with your tinpot club got any idea? Kebe and Marriappa only joined becasue they'd fallen out with Adkins and been frozen out - they were so desparate to leave that they joined palace ffs! The guy from forest was pushed out by Davis. You have only signed players that no one else wanted plus one Spanish youngster who will now sack his agent.

Marvellous scenes! I have absolutely loved this transfer window because of cpfc - eclispses the one with that goon from WBA travelling to QPR and then getting frozen out by Clarke - oh wait, you tried to sign him too!

Arguably post of th Summer and 100% accurate!

By which time you will be 12 points adrift, and we will be in contention for a play off spot......

Hmmmm won't be hard see what the sensible option would be.

12 points adrift when the window opens, but we know they prefer to operate on the last day. 15 points adrift at that point ?

Poor Brighton fans while the big boys like Palace are signing top players, you lot are just sitting there praying that one of your players dont leave :lolol:

Signing top players, **** off you ****, there shit players. That's why the other teams are getting rid. As usual all Palace fans come on here giving it the large attitude and being deluded as normal.

Blimey look at all you Quentins. Who did you lot sign today?

We kept 3 of our best players, 2 of which you tried and failed to sign. You are without your 2 best players from last season and "world class" bendtner ( ) turned around and walked out as soon as he got to selhurst. Still at least he got there in time hahahahahaha

The fact you're weaker this season, suggests otherwise.

We're happy with our transfer window, plenty of players out of contract in June so replacing them with proven quality will improve us, suggesting otherwise stinks of envy.

Question for you Churley1.
As you have now signed 15 players in the window to strengthen your premier squad all of those I assume will be in your 25, Which 5 players of your current 15 players who were part of your promotion winning squad are Palace going to pay to sit on their arse's all season without playing?

Crystal Palace and Ian Holloways recent transfer dealings put me very much in mind of a story about Barry Fry. Fry was just appointed manager of Birmingham City in the early 90's - the then owners gave him a large pot of money to spend with the aim of getting promotion.

Fry spent it on about 20 new players and a local journalist was sent to interview him and run an eye over the new, existing and youth players who were all training together in a public park. The journo drove around the park but couldn't spot them so he parked and walked into the heart of the park to try and find them. As he approached the base of a hill he looked up and saw Fry and a few players come over the brow of the hill and run towards him - he commented that it was like being at Rorke's Drift as the Zulus attacked as a seemingly endless wave after wave of players came over the hill and thundered down towards him.

Fry enthused about all his new signings yet admitted that he new very little about the majority of them - later that season Birmingham were relegated.

We're not weaker. Lost two loan players from the team that finished 4th last season. Improved one (Hammond/Andrews) and replaced Bridge with Ward who is perfectly capable. Also seen an improved Crofts and the emergence of Ince. Signed Upson and have Ulloa who we didn't have this time last year and has improved from last season (when he was very good).

Fail to see how we're weaker...please explain from your position in Colombia.

Arsenal pulled the plug on Bendtners move because Chelsea wouldn't loan Ba to them.

You best hope the argentine battle ship doesn't get sunk early as you have bugger all cover for him.

Barnes will be fit after the international break and there's a loan striker on the way in.

How comes you couldn't beat a very poor Millwall team last weekend then? Last season you would have....

Time for our Palace friends to piss off out of this one now please.

You tried to land two of our best players and failed, somewhat miserably.

They'll pray to find someone mug enough to take them on loan, and cover some of their wages.

Ramage to Barnsley, Dobbie to Huddersfield for starters.

We drew with Millwall last season too. How do you know they were very poor? Were you sneakily watching the game?

First, no they didn't, they're desparate to get rid.

Second, we will get a loan striker in.

Next?
