But if Johnson was to put it on a bus or tea towel, there's a few on here who would believe it

So The Nationalists look like they are set for Government both north and south of the Irish boarder with the likely hood of a United Ireland now firmly on the agenda meanwhile Boris is at it again bigger budget to play with so a much bigger bridge

Absolutely insane attempt at diverting attention from the serious problems this country faces in the next few years. Everyone will be talking about a bridge that will never get built rather than the Russia report, the Acora investigation, the border in the Irish sea and why his squeeze and Cummings are arguing over the choices in the upcoming Cabinet re-shuffle.

Honestly, I was a little bit surprised to hear the prime minister of the United Kingdom speak about the Australian model. Australia, without any doubt, is a strong and like-minded partner. But the European Union does not have a trade agreement with Australia. We are currently trading on WTO terms. And if this is the British choice, well, we are fine with that, without any question. But in fact we just are in the moment where we are agreeing with Australia that that we must end this situation and we work on a trade deal with them.

Cool. The Australia style agreement will soon be a trade deal. Good news at last.

Bloody Worthing!
GDP Growth for last quarter = 0%. Going well, eh? Seriously, it'll be the next quarter that is interesting. Johnson's pre-Brexit hype was that there was pent-up foreign direct and investment just waiting for the Brexit green light.

Heading for a no-deal crash-out imo.

The standard reaction tends to be

a) we're still doing better than the EU and/or

b) let's get behind Boris and cheer loudly because it's the lack of cheering that's (by some mysterious process) causing this problem

Mainly b)
Thats the sort of BS that these mugs actually believe

We’re getting rid of mythical bureaucratic red tape (which was actually the Single Market introduced by Margaret Thatcher) to put all the British red tape in place.

Ah, but I hear you say, we are going to have Freeports. Oh, you mean those Freeports we had back in 2012 (whilst in the EU), and abandoned because they were useless.

They knew what they were voting for!

Just heard arch-Brexiteer Andrew Bridgeon on R5. He was there to discuss HS2 (on which subject I happen to agree with him) but was question on the absolutely nailed-on certainty that frictionless trade is now not possible with the EU. Guess what? He blamed the EU.
